- 3rd leading cause of death among people aged 15-24 (US)

- 35% of vets have been diagnosed with PTSD, 75-80% have a mental health illness in addtion to PTSD.
- 70-80% of veterans experience trauma
- 30% of veterans have been diagnosed with depression
12-15% utilize alcohol or drugs to cope. 53% utilize tobacco, 17% utilize opioids, and 9% utilize cocaine.
