Clarissa’s strong background in social work shaped her people-centered approach to leadership, combining empathy, critical insight, and a deep commitment to service with a career focused on strengthening care delivery, organizational performance, and community impact.
A visionary technology and operations leader in the behavioral health field, Clarissa has led major digital transformation efforts that improved access, collaboration, security, and engagement. She has successfully implemented multiple EHR systems, supported the technology integration required during the 2022 merger of Easterseals Michigan and MORC, led the organization’s migration to Microsoft 365 and Teams Phone, introduced AI solutions to reduce clinician administrative burden, and advanced telehealth infrastructure that proved mission-critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her leadership has also strengthened constituent engagement through Salesforce, expanded advanced reporting capabilities, and reinforced enterprise security practices to protect sensitive information.
In recognition of her impact and leadership, Clarissa was named a finalist for the 2025 Michigan CIO ORBIE Awards in the Corporate category, and her expertise has been featured on national stages, including the Open Minds Technology and Analytics Institute, where she presented on improving consumer engagement through technology. Outside of work, she actively advocates for numerous causes and values time with family and close friends.
