Mia graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Minor in Psychology. She also has a Master's degree in Social Work with a concentration on Mental Health and Trauma from the University of Denver.
She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Informed Interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
