Rebecca is an accomplished attorney whose career reflects excellence in legal practice, community service, and leadership. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and she went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School—credentials that laid a strong foundation for nearly two decades of distinguished work in the legal field.
Before joining Easterseals MORC, Rebecca spent 18 years in private practice, including 17 years with Bodman PLC in Detroit, where she developed deep expertise and earned a reputation for skillful, thoughtful representation. Early in her career, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable John D. Rainey of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, an experience that broadened her perspective and strengthened her commitment to the profession.
Rebecca’s contributions have been recognized locally and nationally. In 2017, she was honored as one of Crain’s Detroit Business “40 Under 40,” a testament to her leadership, accomplishments, and impact within the legal community.
Outside of her professional life, Rebecca is devoted to her family. She and her husband of 18 years, Arthur O’Reilly—also an attorney, practicing at Jones Day—are the proud parents of three children: Camilla (14), Mac (13), and Josephine (10). Much of Rebecca’s free time is happily spent traveling to her children’s ice hockey games and tournaments. The family also enjoys life with their energetic yellow Labrador, Rosie.
