Behavioral Health Urgent Care
We are excited to announce that our Easterseals MORC Behavioral Health Urgent Care is opening on January 5, 2026! We are serving adults and youth, regardless of diagnosis or insurance status. These services are available in person on a walk-in basis to both individuals we are already serving and those new to us.
We are so excited to continue providing excellent service to our community in this new capacity! Further details are coming your way! Services are available regardless of ability to pay. Most insurance companies are accepted, and a sliding fee scale is available.
Overview
The Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) provides immediate walk-in access for individuals experiencing a mental health, substance use, or self-identified crisis. Our services include same-day clinical assessments, crisis stabilization, brief therapeutic interventions, assistance with health-related social needs, and coordination for ongoing care. The BHUC is staffed by experienced behavioral health clinicians, registered nurses, medical assistants, and peer support specialists, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate support. We offer a safe, welcoming environment designed to reduce unnecessary emergency department visits and help individuals regain stability while connecting to essential resources for continued wellness.
What we assist with:
- Mental health crisis
- Symptoms of anxiety, depression, or increased stress
- Challenges with life events leading to self-identified crisis
- Concerns related to substance use
- Thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation
- Emotional distress related to trauma or past experiences
Services offered:
- Crisis intervention and stabilization
- Brief, solution-focused counseling
- Nursing assessment and health screening
- Education/coping strategies
- Safety planning
- Connection to community resources
- Medication consultation and management
- Trauma-informed, harm reduction, and person-centered care
- A safe place to decompress/recover/stabilize
